About the Project
DoctorsMate AI is a web platform designed for healthcare professionals. It enables them to share scientific contributions while relying on an integrated AI assistant during their consultations. The goal: to foster global medical collaboration and simplify real-time access to information.
Objectives
From the start of the project, we identified three major strategic objectives to guide the design of the platform:

Encourage Global Medical Contribution
DoctorsMate AI aims to create an active community of doctors, where everyone can share experiences, clinical cases, or recommendations. The objective is to bring together healthcare professionals from various countries and specialties in one digital space, thus promoting mutual enrichment and the continuous evolution of medical practices.

Integrate a Smooth and Useful AI
One of the biggest challenges was to design an AI capable of assisting the doctor without disrupting their workflow. The AI takes the form of a multitasking conversational assistant, able to answer questions, summarize notes, or suggest relevant medical insights, all within a discreet and intuitive interface.

Launch a Strong and Scalable MVP
DoctorsMate AI was designed from the outset as a product meant to grow. The goal was to create a functional and stable MVP, capable of evolving quickly. This initial release had to offer a simple, clear, and efficient experience, while laying the foundation for large-scale future improvements.
Processus de design
Nous avons commencé par des entretiens avec des médecins, des PM et d’autres parties prenantes, afin de bien cerner leurs attentes.
À partir de ces échanges, nous avons conçu une interface simple, accessible et fonctionnelle, via Figma, en tenant compte des contraintes du contexte médical. Le travail s’est articulé autour de nombreux cycles d’itérations et d’un design system modulaire.

From the start of the project, we identified three major strategic objectives to guide the platform’s design:

It Interacts Through a Chatbot
The DoctorsMate AI assistant takes a familiar and accessible form: a conversational chatbot integrated into the interface. This approach allows for quick user onboarding without a steep learning curve. The doctor can simply ask a question or make a request and receive an immediate response in clear, medically relevant language.

It Assists with Research, Note Summaries, and Protocol Checks
The AI doesn’t just answer—it actively supports the practitioner in daily tasks. Whether it’s searching for specific information, summarizing clinical notes in seconds, or verifying a procedure against a protocol, the assistant provides reliable, concise, and contextualized responses, thus reducing the cognitive load on the healthcare professional.

It’s Designed to Fit Seamlessly into the Practitioner’s Workflow
The AI integration was designed to be non-intrusive. The assistant only appears when the doctor needs it, either in a corner of the screen or through an extension, and can be easily dismissed to avoid interrupting the consultation. This discretion allows for a smooth work experience without distractions or breaks in concentration.
